Swine flu?

My son, Nat got really sick Thursday afternoon. He seems better now, but so far Little A, Max, I and now my husband have all been sick and we're wondering if it has anything to do with this. We find it weird that there have been no cases reported in Oregon or Washington, with the number of people who go back and forth to Cali and Mexico on a regular basis. It seems to have run most of its course through the weekend, but if anybody has any new problems, we'll be at the doctor's office. Wasn't my flu shot supposed to prevent junk like this?
