I got three strawberry plants yesterday and I am very excited. They are all potted and ready to go in the kitchen window (I didn't want to take chances with the weather and the birds). When I was a little kid my mom grew strawberries in the back yard. It was so neat to me to have real strawberries out of the ground.

I love strawberries! Are they difficult to grow ... plants don't really like me.
I've heard they can be difficult, but I think the key is keeping them healthy (fed and watered) and keeping the birds out of em.
