Long Time, No See

I know. It's been a really long time since I posted over here. Not much has changed, other than the kids growing in leaps and bounds. It is so hard to believe that in the next few days, my oldest will officially be a teen. If I have not already mentioned that he has the attitude, he does. I remember the day he was born. Sigh. Where does all the time go? In a few years, he'll want to drive my vehicle. At least I have time to get used to the thought. I've been really busy with a few ventures, but so far they have been positive experiences. Can't believe February is almost over.

The weather is fabulous!!

We've had a week of sunshiny beautiful weather. Too bad I've been running around doing stuff during the entire week. Things should be winding down, but I have so many things to do to get ready for next school year. I'm thankful that I'm not doing all of these things in the rain, though. LOL.

Dad is doing great!

Thanks to everybody for their thoughts and prayers. He's supposed to be staying in bed, but my dad is one of those folks who have to be up and around doing something. My mom has him learning knitting and crocheting to keep him busy. He says he has it figured out. Mom says he doesn't. I'll have to go home so I can see this for myself.

Distracted

For some reason, I just can't pull it together and get things done. Part of it is the weather. The sun is actually out, and out here it is a big deal. Really big deal. There is also nothing like having actual work to do to just sit around and not feel like doing it. Or walk around. Or go for a walk. Or do half a million other things. Sigh.
