Spring Break is over.
YAY! It was good to have the little ones home, but now, it's time for them to return to their teachers and friends. I wish the weather had been better, but maybe it will help us make the most of those days when the sun comes out. The seeds we planted in the yard don't look so good, but we still have hope. We also have some plants grown indoors that look fabulous. We'll have something to eat this Summer. Now it's time to get ready for the big zoo trip. It usually starts out as a field trip for Max and Little A, but eventually we all end up going and it works out. The only thing I hate is that it seems like every school kid for (at least) four counties (spanning two states) is at the zoo on one day. Whew.

Today is April 1.
It's the fourth day of Spring Break. The kids have been busy. It's a shame when you need a Spring Break Break, but I have been there a few times. My mother in law will be coming for a visit once I've got Spring Cleaning under way and my mom may come during the Summer. I think that is going to be interesting, to say the least. I have started doing crafty stuff again. It's really something how great finds have come my way now that I don't think so hard about being creative. This Spring we are planting corn, tomatoes, cilantro, basil, lettuce and we're thinking about maybe some berries. We're not big farmers or anything, but it is always good to go out into the garden, pick some stuff, and have it for a snack or with a meal without having to run to the store. This year, Al is getting involved, too, which is a good thing to see.
